CVRA Patrol Car/Join CVRA

The CVRA 24/7 Security Patrol Car

Up until the end of 2001 the whole Honeydew precinct was experiencing what can only be described as a minor crime wave.  In an effort to banish would-be criminals and miscreants from the Village the CVRA Security Patrol Car was introduced in April 2002.  Although there is still minor crime in the Village, the crime we experience is generally of a petty nature, unlike some of the neighbouring areas where there is no similar service.  This highlights the fact that pro-active policing and security initiatives such as the CVRA Security Patrol Car do work and vindicates the implementation of the 24/7 patrol.  Several of the townhouse, business and office complexes contribute to the upkeep of this facility.

Proactive Alarm Systems, Armed Response Etc

Besides the patrol car, Thaba Security Services also install alarm systems, provide guards, armed response and holiday home and absentee householder animal feeding services at reduced rates for CVRA Car contributors.  For more information contact William on (011) 472-0937

Funding

When one considers what the CVRA does, it is obvious that the initiative cannot function without funds.  The CVRA annual membership is R 360.
