Dear Registered Interested and Affected Party
Kindly be advised that, following the submission of the Final Scoping Report for the EIA for the Route Determination of the Proposed Metro Boulevard, it has come to our attention that a few I&AP letters have been omitted from the report. Cool@School
A group of concerned parents have set up an organisation called “Cool@School” to deal with the ways that crime is affecting our children emotionally, with them becoming scared, anxious, stressed, losing hope and feeling completely powerless.
It is planned to develop a program to empower children to deal with the ways in which crime touches their lives, which will be run at as many different schools as possible, in the hopes that it will, in the long run, enable children to become well-rounded adults who can lead our country in a positive way.
Visit their website at www.facesofcrime.co.za and see if there is any way you are able to help them.

John Baisley, Chairman of the Honeydew Community Police Forum writes:
I recently asked for folk to come forward to
assist in search operations, should the need arise if anyone goes missing in Honeydew. This in light of
the young child who went missing in Pretoria and
was sadly found dead, and also to give people who
do not know what to do, something tangible to do.
The request was done via email and I am pleased to say we have
been overwhelmed by the response. We have collected all the names and now have a database of about 450 people who will be contactable by sms
when needed.
Thank you to those
that have offered to set up the database and send
out the sms's. This all free of charge to the CPF and
the community. If you want to be part of this
success story please contact the CPF office
(011 801-8400) with your name,
cell number and area you live in
